Blue Green Sunbursts, O What To Use Them For

I raided my lovely mummy’s yarn stash when I was in Northern Ireland for Christmas with the plan to find some colours that would go well in my friend’s cafe. The cafe colours are pale blue and orange, so I picked out some tones of blue and green that go together perfectly. The camera doesn’t quite capture it below or above, but the pale green colour actually looks pretty good in real life!

I decided to make sunbursts again, as I just absolutely love making them. The first ones that I made were multi coloured, so I was keen to try them with just 3 or 4 colours.  The only issue I can find with the sunburst design is that it completely eats yarn, like it just inhales it! The puff stitch and cluster stitches are yarn heavy, but don’t let that put you off trying this awesome design. I got my pattern from Nitty Bits. It is a very easy pattern to follow, so dive in!

I made a whole pile of the sunbursts from the few balls that I found in my mum’s cupboards, as you can see below 😀

I ended up making a few things with the sunbursts, so look out for my posts later in the week sharing what I created!
